Fishing Christmas
What can I cook for Christmas Day in Ireland that's Italian infused?
I married a guy from Dublin(Ireland,) I'm from Jersey. I'm use to fish Christmas Eve, then dinner Christmas Day was antipasto, lasagna, coq au vin(my grandpa was french,) and then pies and cookies for dessert. My husband on the other hand is use to boiled bacon(it's basically ham) and stuffed turkey Christmas Day, drinking at the bar Christmas Eve and Stephen's Day(day after christmas.) This year we are spending Christmas in Ireland with his family, and I get the pleasure of cooking Christmas dinner, for about 8 people. I want to infuse some of my family with his but can't figure out how. Also a side note he is allergic to ANYTHING that comes from the sea, fish and shell fish:( HELP PLEASE! Plus I love to cook and it's not like I have to impress his familia, but I am a perfectionist hence me thinking about what I'm cooking seven months before the actually dinner.
Make a lasagna with the boiled bacon... Line the noodles with the bacon, béchmel and grated Parmesan cheese.
